These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the VoiceTranslate.io website and translation services (collectively, the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you confirm that you are at least 13 years of age and agree to be bound by these Terms.
VoiceTranslate.io provides AI-powered translation across 500+ languages via voice, text, camera and image input. The Service is available through your web browser with no download required. We offer both a free tier and a paid Pro subscription.
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes. You must not:

Always have important translations verified by a qualified human translator. We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from reliance on an inaccurate translation.
Pro subscriptions are billed monthly via Stripe. By subscribing you agree to:
You may cancel your Pro subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you retain Pro access until then. No partial refunds are issued for unused days after the 7-day refund window.
We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice to existing subscribers.
The VoiceTranslate.io name, logo, design and underlying software are owned by us and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute or create derivative works without our written permission.
You retain ownership of any content you submit for translation. By submitting content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to process it solely for the purpose of providing the translation service.
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Please review it to understand our data practices.
The Service relies on third-party providers including Google Cloud AI (translation engine), Stripe (payments), Google AdSense (ads) and Cloudflare (infrastructure). Your use of these integrated services is subject to their respective terms and policies. We are not responsible for the practices of third-party providers.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure or free of viruses. We disclaim all implied warranties including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement to the maximum extent permitted by law.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, VoiceTranslate.io and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service, including but not limited to loss of profits, data or goodwill, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim, or $10 USD, whichever is greater.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless VoiceTranslate.io and its operators from any claim, loss, liability or expense (including legal fees) arising out of your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend or discontinue the Service (or any part of it) at any time, with or without notice. We will make reasonable efforts to notify Pro subscribers of significant changes or planned downtime. We are not liable for any modification, suspension or discontinuation of the Service.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time if we believe you have violated these Terms, without refund or notice. You may stop using the Service at any time. Sections 6, 9, 10, 11 and 14 survive termination.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation first. If unresolved, disputes shall be submitted to binding arbitration or the competent courts of the jurisdiction in which we operate.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify Pro subscribers of material changes by email. For free users, continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects when changes were last made.
